• I loved Julie Buxbaum's first two YA books, so of course jumped on this one. It's darker than the other two, but it's no less good for being different.
  
  If you haven't read anything by this author before, you might not believe that she could do a light, fun romance against the backdrop of a 9/11 story, but she absolutely can. I rarely literally laugh out loud when I'm reading, but I did multiple times in this book, mostly because of Abbi. I really liked her connection with Noah, and all of their secondary problems - friendship, parents, secrets, illness, expectations.
  
  Our reading teen was born well after 9/11, so I'm always interested in how she'll deal with books like this. Lots to discuss, both world events and personal tragedies.
